Dr. Marilyn Atkinson - the founder of Erickson International and the creator of the most effective solution-focused coaching methodology in the world, actively contributes to emergence and the expansion of solution-focused philosophy.

About the training:

"The Art and Science of Coaching" is 16-day training which is divided into 4 different four-day modules, each of 4 modules processed by one of the four phases of a coaching project.

Meet the four stages of the training:

Module 1 - Inspiration: The aim of this module is to provide participants with the necessary theory and practice in order to be able to carry out a complete coaching session and inspire clients to take necessary actions for success. This module can be completed as a separate training.

Module 2 - Implementation: The focus of the second module is on the development and implementation of coaching skills. In this module you are going to learn about different ways in which you can assist the client in finding their own answers to the question “How can I achieve the desired goal?”

Module 3 - Establishing of Values: This module gives you the opportunity to get to know methods for raising clients’ awareness of core values. You will learn how to assist the client in connecting with the goals and values under which they operate.

Module 4 – Integration: The aim of the fourth module is for you to create your own strategies for success, plans for development of your own coaching business or implementation of coaching in your company.

Note: The training is lectured in English.

ICF Certification

What is ICF?

The International Coach Federation (ICF) is a leading global organization committed to advancing coaching profession through setting high standards, providing independent certification and building a world-wide network of professional coaches. This organization was founded in 1995, and today it has more than 20 000 members worldwide. ICF is known for its golden, highest standards in coaching.

As the world's largest organization of professional coaches, ICF gives credibility to its members. The focus of this organization is on linking members with the tools and resources they need in order to be successful in their careers.

Become ICF accredited:

There are three levels of accreditation by ICF:

  • The Associated Certified Coach (ACC)
  • The Professional Certified Coach (PCC)
  • The Master Certified Coach (MCC)

These are three paths how to get the accreditation by the ICF:

  • CCE (Continuing Coach Education)
  • ACSTH (Approved Coaching Specific Training Hours)
  • ACTP (Accredited Coaching Training Program)

If the institution wants to accredit its program
In order to be accredited by the ICF, it is necessary to fully or to some extent meet the rigorous rules and high standards.

When choosing education for yourself, it is very important to check which exact level of ICF accreditation meets the program that you want to attend, as it will depend on your benefits after training. The ICF also requires renewal of accreditation every three years.

How to become an ICF Certified Coach?

The Art & Science of Coaching modules 1 – 4

Four Modules consist 16 training days

Duration: 136 instructional hours

The training is delivered by international coaches

ACTP Path – Mastery Coaching Program

After completing The Art and Science of coaching Module1 – M4 + Mastery Coaching Program you will be able to get your Erickson Coach Diploma, with which you can apply directly to ICF and gain your credentials.

Coaching Mastery Program consists of:

  • I. Preparation
  • II. Group Mentoring Sessions
  • III. One-on-One Mentor Coaching Sessions
  • IV. Oral Assessment

In online group mentoring sessions and one-on- one mentor calls, Erickson qualified Mentors are supporting you to reach the level of professional coaching that is required by the ICF. Passing the oral assessment successfully will get you the Erickson Solution-Focused Diploma, with which you can apply to the ICF for your ACC or PCC accreditation via ACTP path.

Resource Development: Training, writing, research, or self-learning outside ICF key competencies that contribute to the professional development of the coaching.
